Field visits to monitor Jordanian accreditation for a number of colleges
Within the framework of the university’s continuous efforts to enhance the quality of its academic programs and to fulfill accreditation requirements, the Head of the Academic Accreditation Department, Mrs. Sawsan Radaideh, along with the members of the Jordanian Accreditation Follow-up Committee, carried out a series of field visits to the university’s faculties; Information Technology and Computer Science, Law, Fine Arts, Educational Sciences. These visits were done to ensure monitoring the readiness of the faculties to obtain the Jordanian accreditation for their programs.

Prior to conducting these visits, a random accreditation standard was reviewed for each program that had demonstrated readiness and progress in preparing its self-study report (SSR). The Head of the Department recorded observations according to a checklist specifically prepared for this purpose in order to generalize the benefit and using it as a benchmark when working on the remaining standards.

During the field meetings, questions and inquiries raised by members of the central committees were addressed, which enriched the visits and contributed to clarifying the level of program readiness and discussing observations directly.

A comprehensive schedule was also prepared for the implementation of these visits, ensuring the highest levels of coordination and organization among the various concerned faculties.

These efforts come within the university’s commitment to advancing the quality of its academic outputs and fostering an educational environment based on quality and excellence.
