The Diwan Department's Responsibilities

1. Tracking and archiving outgoing correspondence from the center, assigning an outgoing number to all official transactions issued in the name of the center's director. This department also tracks and archives incoming correspondence from the university's administration and various university units, assigning them an incoming number and processing them accordingly.

2. Monitoring the electronic archiving system, receiving documents, processing them, and electronically submitting outgoing and incoming correspondence to the university's various departments and units.

3. Managing personnel affairs, including leave and absences, verifying and recording them, entering them into the system, and addressing any related issues. This also includes managing administrative, sick, and maternity leave, as well as monitoring and auditing the official attendance record internally and externally with the oversight office.

4. Tracking incoming correspondence to the center's departments and following up on correspondence requiring responses.

5. Preparing, drafting, and printing outgoing correspondence from the center in the name of the center's director, both within and outside the university, and following up on certain official correspondences that require the center director's attention.

6. Overseeing departmental maintenance work (water, electricity, tiling, painting, etc.) and photocopier maintenance (i.e., general follow-up with the Maintenance Department, the Supplies Department, the Public Services Department (requests for official travel) and the Computer and Information Center).

7. Providing colleges, departments, the Language Center, and the International Relations and Projects Department with student performance evaluations of university faculty members.
