Within the activities of the 11th International Week for the Prevention of Lead Poisoning / the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center in Yarmouk holds an environmental awareness workshop


The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center at Yarmouk University held an environmental awareness workshop in cooperation with the Jordanian Environmental Society and the World Health Organization, as part of the activities of the Eleventh International Week for the Prevention of Lead Poisoning. During the workshop, which was attended by university students registered in the environment and public health course, the Executive Director of the Jordanian Environment Society, Engineer Maan Nasayra, spoke, he reviewed the role of the Jordanian Environment Society in environmental awareness and its projects directed at protecting the environment, explaining the sources of lead poisoning and its dangers to humans and the surrounding environment. He also spoke about Some of the environmental issues that the Jordanian Environment Society deals with. At the end of the workshop, the speaker answered the questions of the students, who showed great interaction on the topics discussed during the workshop. The workshop was attended by Dr. Rana Al-Sammadi, Deputy Director of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center, the course instructor, Dr. Hussein Abu Arqoub, and a number of officials at the center.
